Mr. Gerald Hackett is a highly regarded consultant gynaecologist with over twenty years of experience, based in Cambridge. He specialises in reproductive medicine, with a particular focus on menstrual disorders, fibroids, ovarian cysts, pelvic pain, premenstrual syndromes and menopausal symptoms.
Having trained in prestigious London Teaching Hospitals such as St Mary's and King's College, Mr. Hackett later held a consultant position at Cambridge University Hospitals (Addenbrooke's). After three decades, including roles as Divisional and Clinical Director and University Lecturer, he recently retired from NHS practice.
Mr. Hackett is recognised by the British Menopause Society as a Menopause Specialist and Principal Trainer. He established the NHS Menopause Clinic in Cambridge, receiving referrals from across the region. His expertise extends to performing minimally-invasive procedures via hysteroscopy offering advanced treatments for fibroids and menstrual symptoms in particular.
