Gareth was very professional explaining exactly what the problem was with my knee and letting me know that it was going to be painful after the operation but would be worth it. I was having a total knee replacement on my left knee he answered all questions I had about the procedure and now six weeks after my operation I understand why he talked in such detail about the recovery process. I am now well on the way to recovery walking without a stick still taking painkillers mainly to sleep at night. Gareth did a fantastic job on my knee looking in the mirror I can now see my left leg is straight it was worth the pain and I have been back yesterday and booked in with Gareth for my other knee to be done.

Mr Stables was easy to talk to and gave very understandable explanations about my knee problem. This meant that any worries or concerns that I may have had about the surgery were quickly resolved. The other professionals involved - nurses, anaesthetist and physiotherapist were also incredibly caring - ensuring that the experience of surgery was non-traumatic.

Excellent care from start to finish. Always felt I knew what was going on an what my options were. This continued after the procedure with follow up from my consultant and referral to after care.

An excellent experience. The procedure was clearly explained beforehand and exactly followed the pattern described. Mr Stables followed my recovery closely with daily visits to me, when we could discuss after effects and progress. His care and interest was very encouraging. The knee pain was not half as painful as I had been led to believe by others, who obviously had not opted for the personally scanned pre formed model.
