Going to a gynaecologic was never a nice experience for me, until I met Prof Downes. He’s an amazing person who made me feel very comfortable and was very sensitive during the exams and while explaining results or the next steps. I felt secured and that im in good hands. Don’t think twice!

I went to see Prof Downes for a second opinion as I had been told I needed a hysterectomy following a pipelle biopsy. Prof Downes was extremely reassuring, explained the different options clearly and personally carried out a full biopsy so that we could obtain a clearer picture. As a result of this I am now able to undertake a more conservative hormone therapy. I cannot stress enough how professional and kind both Prof Downes and all his staff have been.

Wonderful practice, easy to get appointments and any worries quickly addressed. Professor Downes very kind as are all his staff. Highly recommended.
