Very professional very friendly and excellent result following (staged) cataract surgery both eyes

I was diagnosed by my opthalmologist with a tear in my right retina. I was advised that it needed to be dealt with urgently. I called the London Clinic and was recommended to Mr Mitry. The receptionist put me in touch with Mr Mitry's secretary and within an hour I had an appointment for noon the following day, with Mr Mitry fitting me in to his list for the day. He was calm and reassuring, confirmed the tear and immediately undertook a retinopexy on site to seal the tear. Within 2 hours I was able to leave. A follow-up two weeks later confirmed that the issue was resolved. I cannot thank Mr Mitry enough for the speed and care with which he dealt with this. I will not hesitate to see him again if I have any further problems.

Mr Mitry performed a vitrectomy surgery on my left eye. It was a painless operation and an easy recovery. I hesitated before going ahead with the op but Mr Mitry completely put my mind at ease and explained the proceedure in a relaxed and unhurried way. I would completely recommend him and would urge anyone who needs the same op to go ahead with it. My eye sight is so much better after only a month's recovery.

Mr Mitry was outstanding from first consultation and through both cataract operations, always spending time with detailed explanations of procedures and allaying any anxieties and fears I had and the results are excellent. I would highly recommend Mr Mitry to anyone who requires eye surgery.
