I recently underwent a prostatectomy, performed by Mr Khoubehi which went extremely successfully. After my catheter was removed I was able to control my bladder and after a few days the leaking of urine began to no longer be an inconvenience as the problem was resolved by pelvic floor exercises. I had been worried about my slowing prostate - worries MUCH enhanced by Google and by what I suspect are often "fraudulent" YouTube etc advices, not to say the associated very/suspiciously expensive pills etc I was one of the lucky ones - Mr Khoubehi was completely clear with his diagnosis, his further PSA tests, and his resulting completely-reassuring advice. Mr Khoubehi is an amazing surgeon and consultant. He puts you at ease with his consummate professionalism and expertise. He performed a robotic laparoscopic radical nephrectomy and it could not have gone any better. The surgery went so well and recovery was swift. The scar was minimal for the type of surgery and has healed remarkably well. His constant reassurance and explanations are delivered in a clam manner, letting you know he knows exactly what he is doing and what you need to hear and how you need to hear it. I would recommend Mr Khoubehi as your first choice of consultant and surgeon.
