He handled a difficult situation for me with compassion; answered all my questions clearly and honestly. Showed me support and caring with a final comment that ‘they would look after me’ which was very much appreciated.

I was referred by my GP to Mr. Lamb at Addenbrooke's as a result of a raised PSA test. A further consultation following an MRI resulted in a CT and biopsy, with the conclusion being that a Robot Assisted Radical Prostatectomy was the optimal treatment. Everything went extraordinarily well with the surgery, and my post-operative recovery has been spectacularly good. Throughout the whole experience Mr. Lamb was highly professional, informative, reassuring, and above all approachable and humane. I feel incredibly fortunate to have been put under his care, and will be forever grateful for his exceptional care.

Dr Lamb was excellent, understanding and acknowledge my hearing difficulties. I was grateful for a face to face appt. However Dr Lamb referred me to see Suzanne Biers or one other Urologist as my problems are complicated. The copy of the letter sent to Ms Biers asked for me too be seen and also to discuss possibly intravesical treatment . Sadly this hasnt' happened and to date Im still waiting for the prescription letter. 10 weeks after my visit. Thank you Christina
