From my very first meeting with Mr Unnithan I was impressed with his manner - friendly, good natured, helpful, willing to answer any question, and totally professional. He inspires a great deal of confidence and I was more than happy for him to proceed to perform surgery on my hip ( a total replacement). As a result of his skill my confidence was well justified. I was off any painkillers after seven days and am back to normal after six weeks. I am 79 years of age. I would happily consult him again should the need arise.

Mr Unnithan was very supportive in getting my Total Hip Replacement Operation organised and he was very clear about what it involved and what the risks might be. He gave me the confidence that the operation would relieve the very painful condition I was in and would enable me to get myself back to full mobility in due course. After the operation he gave me clear advice and support. I am now in a much better place thanks to his skills and advice and I'm well on the the road to a full recovery. Thank you.

Although surgery did go as I expected , the 1st 3weeks of the post-op period was difficult for me because of my blood pressure drop and the need for a blood transfusion. This was handled very efficiently and sympathetically by all doctors and nurses guided by Mr Unnithan. For that I am grateful .

I had two consultations with Mr Unnithan prior to the operation. He gave me considerable confidence in a successful outcome as he came across as highly experienced in the type of operation I was going to need. The risks were not underplayed and I was copied in on two letters he wrote to my GP surgery explaining what he was going to undertake and then the outcome. In the end the lengthy operation went well and he has kept an eye on my recuperation. I am very pleased my GP referred me to Mr Unnithan.
