I went to see Mr Gambhir following problems after a fall led to a full hip replacement ( the surgery was not undertaken by Mr Gambhir ) I was worried when I arrived for my appointment and felt quite vulnerable but found him to be very kind, , understanding and reassuring. He explained my Xrays clearly and ensured he answered all my questions thoroughly . I left feeling confident and clear about the way forward. Should further surgery be needed I would have no concern about Mr Gambhir operating as he was extremely knowledgeable and his calm and reassuring demeanour would give me the confidence required to go ahead . Mr Gambhir was recommended by my private insurance company. I found to be professional, personable with the reassurence of a Consultant at the top of his game. Mr Gambhir explained everything to me about my operation in very easy terms. He always made me feel as if I was his only patient. Not only that, his secretary, Angela was a real support when I needed an answer to a question. Highly recommended, would use again, but hopefully not for at least 15 years!

Had an anterior hip performed by Mr. Gambhir. Operation went very well and aftercare was all I could expect. Healing was very quick. Pain from the arthritis was gone immediately. Initially there was some discomfort from the operation but not enough to make me use painkillers. Walking was a problem at first. I could only walk a few hundred yards after the first fortnight. 2 months into my recovery I am walking 3 miles a day but I see this only as a start. Flexibility is improving but slowly. I am happy with the lack of pain now.
