We were seen by Andrew Robb who gave a fantastic experience of meeting and greeting with a warm smile and suitable banter for both child and adult ( just seeing his smile now makes us smile). He had shown a professional experience and was gentle calm polite proactive and an outstanding listener. Everything was explained well (terminologies or jargon was broken down) so it was easily understood. Thus, nice and thoroughly, with question and answer process to follow respectfully. We were so concerned and worried about our son having blood in his urine, however what he demonstrated was an absolutely beautiful and strong patient and consultant relationship, that has brought reassurance to our hearts of the plan of treatment that we shall follow. Overall, a consultant that is warm-hearted welcoming and service that is unrushed and I believe Andrew truly puts his patients as priority. A valuable treasure to the medical field /community. We’ve been receiving treatment at our local hospital for the past 2 years for my child who has recurrent kidney and water infections. She has spent a lot of time in hospital and on her last admission we were told her blood tests were worse then her admission in February but that was it. Nothing was really explained to us it was always referred back to the paediatrician. So we decided it was time for a second opinion just to give us peace of mind as parents and that if there was anything else that could be done. He explained the different conditions that could be causing our daughters condition and then he made a PLAN and not just for now for an end goal aswell. As a parent to finally have a plan in place it was so reassuring and he’d emailed me within 24hours with the plan in place going forward. My daughter is now under his care at the children’s hospital and will be starting her investigations next week, thank you Mr.Robb for helping us as parents feel a bit more in control of our daughters care and on the road to recovery.

Our first appointment with Dr. Robb was very positive. He was polite and approachable. Very easy to understand using plain English. He took the time to listen to the background and advised on options going forward.
