Excellent! Mr Goldberg has a great bedside manner and a wonderful sense of humour which quickly puts one at ease. He is clear in his explanations and an extremely talented and skilful surgeon. After many surgeries on my ankle, Mr Goldberg always takes the extra twists and turns that my ankle throws at him in his stride and always has a plan in hand for what to do. I can’t thank him enough for continually trying to solve the problems it has.

He is always attentive, cares about you as a patient not a number, explains everything in an easy to understand way (including the use of props and diagrams, if necessary), puts you at ease and fills you with confidence. I went private, as unfortunately I had lost trust in the NHS, and I was recommended Mr Goldberg by someone I met. My opinion of doctors and hospitals has changed from a negative one to an extremely positive one since being under the care of Mr Goldberg and having my appointments at such a calm and friendly hospital. He is caring, understanding and extremely knowledgeable. He made my daughter and I feel at ease and knew immediately what the concerns were and what needed to be done. I have been a patient of Mr Goldberg for many years due to problems with both feet. I had one ankle fusion operation and recently had full ankle replacement surgery. I am now starting to weight bear with no problems. Mr Goldberg is absolutely the best, as a person he is kind and compassionate and always finds the time discuss any problems and never in a rush. He has a good sense of humour which certainly helps during recovery. We discussed how painful the procedures would be and he said “ we don’t do pain”. That has been so true.
