I am a 63-year-old man who developed this condition approximately 2 years ago. I went to see my GP who referred me to a urologist. The Peyronie's disease was confirmed by this consultant, who advised me that I had serious curvature of 75 degrees and suggested to me that he would recommend Nesbit surgical procedure to treat my condition. I researched the condition and discovered that the collagen causing the Peyronies in my penis was similar to that which was found in Dupuytren's contracture. I was personally aware of Dupuytren's having known some men who had had this condition and the successful outcomes using Xiapex injections. It made sense to me that the successful treatment using Xiapex to deal with collagen in one part of the body gave the promising potential to treat the collagen in another part of the body, without the necessity of intrusive and risky surgery. Having considered my options very carefully, I asked to be put in touch with Dr Raheem UCL hospital, who I was aware was an expert in using Xiapex injections for the treatment of Peyronies. After considering my options I made the decision to go to Dr Raheem for my Xiapex injections. I was given 3 separate injections over a period of about 3 months. I was also advised to combine this treatment with traction, vacuum, modelling and stretching exercises which I carried out multiple times daily in a very diligent manner. Common sense told me that the skin organ is very malleable, from observing that different cultures used all sorts of devices to change their appearance, in ears and mouths for example, so I considered that similar techniques would have similar impact on my penis. I used phallosan forte traction and penimaster vacuum devices suggested by Dr Raheem during the period I had my Xiapex injections. I'm delighted to report that after 3 Xiapex injections my penis is now functioning again and the curvature is significantly better and is only minimal now. The only side effects were short-term swelling and bruising to my penis following the injections, but which soon resolved itself. The Peyronies had had a significant effect on my life and relationship with my partner, as I was unable to have penetrative sex at all during my illness. This is now resolved and I'm delighted with the results following the Xiapex treatment. I would recommend Xiapex treatment to other men who have Peyronies condition. It seems to me that the Xiapex, combined with the stretching and modelling techniques have been very successful in my case. I'm very grateful to my consultant for his skilled treatment and intervention which has had such a major effect on my quality of life.

I had severe pain in the area I though it was the prostate. I had severe pain when urinating. The pain then started to move ( not in the same place). After a few months I started having very sharp pain in my penis while having sexual intercourse. The pain was like a knife stabbing the penis. I went to several Drs who automatically described my case as prostate just based on my age, then I went to Germany for a cheque up & they made all kinds of tests & found nothing. This process took more than a year. After this I started noticing bending downwards of my penis. Then a very clear dent started to show at the bottom of my penis ( the area connecting it to my body). This whole thing was during a full two years. I searched the net & found Dr Amr. Dr. Amr prescription was cialis 5 mg that is a small dose of cialus ( it has a similar effect like Viagra when used in high doses of 20+ mg). What it does at this small dose, it helps the blood circulation in all the area (prostate & penis). I have to also admit that while I met Dr Amr, I started to do a LOT of sports (gym & Swimming), and it is worthwhile mentioning that with sports , one gets a good blood circulation. I had forgotten that men get an erection while sleeping & I had lost hope in having sex & it did affect my life as a man. My wife was very kind not to complain but I was miserable for almost 2 years & at some point I was hoping to die because I lost hope. The pain was also coming in prostate while sitting down. After less than 6 month with the treatment, the pain is almost gone, the bend in my penis is going ways, the dent in my penis is becoming less visual & no pain at sexual intercorse. I was in a viscous circle, because not being able to have sex, the case was getting worse. Now with the help of medication, I started having good blood circulation & with sports BUT, most important, my wife helped me to start have sex which again makes blood circulation in the penis. I can say I am 90% back to normal & at the age of 60, I am having a full life back again. I am definitely on the right track.

I was diagnosed with a severe case of peyronie's disease (60 degrees curve and severe waste problem) 2 years ago. I decided to try xiapex due to the risks associated with graft surgery. I wish I had started immediately instead of waiting 1 year for the disease to stabilise. I highly recommend Dr Raheem and International Andrology for their professional and human qualities. Dr Raheem is the person to trust for xiapex treatment. I had minimal side effects after each injection. The guys in the clinic were also very responsive and helpful. Don't expect quick miracles from xiapex treatment. I had many, many more injections than the protocol suggested by the clinic. Talk to Dr Raheem about the number. My experience is that if the volume of the plaque is reducing after each injection and you can afford the treatment which is still very expensive carry on. I am 41 and I didn't want to have to deal with the possibility of having an implant after graft surgery. My curve is now below 20 degrees and the waste problem has almost gone. My pre peyronie's penis size has also been restored. My quality of life is almost back to normal. I will probably carry on with the treatment to bring the curve down to 10 degrees if possible. I appreciate that not everyone can afford having many xiapex injections but the drug has very slowly produced the desirable functional and aesthetic results for me.
