From the initial consultation right the way through to a year on, I cannot fault the high standard of all round care that I’ve received. It genuinely has exceeded my expectations. I did not expect the pre-op and post-op care but this gave me so much confidence. I was made to feel listened to and that I wasn’t on my own. Clinical and pastoral care that went above and beyond.

Mr Ahmed was very clear and direct in his dealings with me. I found him approachable and warm. The most important part of my experience with him was my operation (and I was unconscious for that so I can't describe it) and he did a 100% perfect job for which I am grateful.

From the start of the journey to now (6 months post op) Mr Hamouda has been brilliant. I'm a naturally anxious person, so considering weight-loss surgery was terrifying for me in general. But from the first consultation he was really good at explaining all the options, what I should expect and then answering any of my questions. I initially came in with the idea of a difference procedure but Mr Hamouda explained why this might not be the best idea due to certain factors and helped to find the right option for me considering my age, weight and other factors. I ended up deciding on a gastric sleeve procedure based upon his advice. I'm a completely different person from the person who walked into the first consultation. On the day of the surgery, I was visited by him in the morning and he made sure any questions I had were answered no matter how stupid I felt they were. After the procedure he was really patient with me when he came to check on me which I really appreciated as I was very anxious. Every interaction i've had with Mr Hamouda has been fantastic, and the care i've received has been excellent. I can't thank him enough for all the help i've received from him!
