I was very nervous when I arrived. Didn’t have to wait long to be seen found Mr Critchley put me at ease straight away.

Mr Critchley was so kind when I was feeling extremely anxious about a recent health problem. He performed a thorough assessment and explained everything clearly. I felt very reassured that the problem could be investigated and managed by him and his team. Thank you.

Mr Critchley was an hour and 10 minutes late calling me in to my appointment which left me feeling quite anxious in an already stressful situation. The examination was brief but seemed to be comprehensive if rather perfunctory. I didn’t get much - indeed any - explanation about possible causes of the symptoms I’d presented with. I’d hoped this might be addressed in the follow up letter but it was not. My lengthy wait received a cursory apology and I was back out of the door after a short length of time.
I'm really sorry you had an unacceptably long wait and completely understand your frustration. My clinics normally run to time but a couple of consultations took longer than anticipated and that had a knock-on effect on you and I am really sorry. I'm sorry you didn't feel we had enough discussion time and that I didn't pick up on this. I would be very happy to see you again to discuss any ongoing concerns you have or over the phone if this is more convenient. Can you let Tracy know what you would prefer and she will arrange an appointment for you (obviously free of charge).

Mr Critchley had a very nice manner, spoke to both myself and my husband and explained things thoroughly. It was very reassuring.

All excellent except I had to leave because I had waited 40 mins and had another arrangement. I presume this delay was unavoidable. He did call me later and said he would arrange another time

I had attended Dr Adam Critchley's clinic knowing that I was probably worrying about nothing-but worried none the less. However Mr Critchley understood my concerns, treated them seriously, and never once made me feel that I was wasting his time, listening intently, offering reassurance and explanation and being incredibly empathetic. The breast exam and following mammogram were handled professionally and efficiently and put my mind at rest. Mr Crichley's manner and patient engagement was exemplary.
