I had an excellent experience with Mr Mabrouk and his team. I received a full explanation of the procedures throughout the process. All of the team were very professional, patient and caring. Appointments, diagnostic tests and subsequent surgery was booked in promptly. Within 4 months from diagnosis, I have now had surgery to treat a disease I have probably suffered from for 21 years, prior to this symptoms and related issues were discussed extensively with and not addressed effectively by +10 different GPs. Surgery went very well with no complications, he is a very skilled surgeon and clearly an expert in his field. I would highly recommend him, this experience has been transformative and I finally feel that someone took me seriously and wanted to improve my quality of life.

I cannot thank Dr. Mabrouk and his team enough for a fantastic and professional performance after a challenging hysterectomy. I had laparoscopy performed by Dr Mabrouk and I am so grateful that I chose him to do this. He is extremely professional, knowledgeable and most importanly such a lovely person. He was always available for my concerns and questions and he always knew how to put me at ease. I am still recovering but it's my 7th day and I am already feeling much better. Wonderful. It seemed like he was emotionally invested in my outcome, rather than just professionally curious, which is something I’ve never seen before. In other words, I felt like he cared. His natural ebullience and enthusiasm for surgery and my recovery was the most heartening experience. His explanations were clear. I saw him more times than I expected after the surgery.

I wanted to take the time to consider this review carefully as I have never felt that someone deserves as much thanks as Mr Mabrouk. Mr Mabrouk is a very kind and patient person. His mannerism was very calming and easy going. I felt very safe and that he knew exactly what to say and do to make me feel happy and comfortable. During my stay at the hospital he visited me multiple times. He saw me before theatre to discuss my treatment again and check in. After I woke up while in recovery and the next day to talk through the success of the surgery. I will have another follow up with him 6 weeks post surgery to discuss next steps and recovery. I felt that he explained everything I needed to know and was very calm as I was very nervous. I couldn’t recommend him enough to anyone suffering with endometriosis. He is unlike any other consultant in womens health, I’ve never felt more heard and understood. I am looking forward to getting my life back and if anyone tells me they have any symptoms of endometriosis or adenomyosis I will always recommend this brilliant and kind man. Thank you again.
