Miss Scarpinata was very professional and helpful. I had gone to the wrong hospital by mistake and she very kindly agreed to wait for me to arrive at Blackheath. This was very reassuring. She was ready to greet me and complete the consultation. Miss Scarpinata made her recommendations in a very understandable way. A very good experience.

Miss Scarpinata was a great surgeon to have. She was very clear about my options and what would happen with my surgery which put me at ease and made me feel very informed about what was going to happen. She also was very involved in my aftercare - coming to see me every day in the hospital, calling me multiple times once I was home to check on my progress and any concerns I had. I would definitely recommend her as your surgeon as I had no complaints from the care that I got.

I had two surgeries (one was 8 hours long) and few other procedures with Ms. Scarpinata and I was very much confident that I was in best hands. She explained to me everything in detail and patiently answered too many of my dumb questions. After both surgeries her after care was nothing but the best, entirely focussed on my long term recovery and betterment. I have been under the care of Miss Scarpinata for over 4 years. She became my consultant back in 2016 when i I was suffering with very nasty ulcerative colitis. In October 2016 she performed a subtotal colectomy with total end ileostomy which has been a great success and got my life back on track.
