Mr Jonathan Dunne was exemplary, in both his professional capacity and his communication skills. Mr Dunne took time to fully explain the issues and procedures in a manner and language that was informative and understandable. He seemed to genuinely care and take an interest in my father's health and well being, and gave us the utmost reassurance throughout the whole process that my father was receiving the best care possible.

Mr Dunne has treated me in what I felt was a most professional manner. His communication skills are excellent, as is his bedside manner, knowledge, and his skills as a facial surgeon. Having surgery on one's face can be an extremely worrying and upsetting scenario. For example, I was concerned about scarring to my face and of the potential damage to nerves, which could leave one’s face paralysed. However, Mr Dunne made the whole process as stress-free and patient friendly as possible. He was happy to spend as much time as I needed explaining the surgery he was proposing to my face. He took time to go over exactly what the surgery would involve whilst also voicing the potential risks and side effects. In respect of his abilities as a surgeon, I cannot praise him highly enough. I had a very aggressive cancer on the left side of my face, which had spread up to just beneath my eye, and into the buccal mucosa. As a result, it was necessary for a large amount of skin to be removed from my face, and for skin from my arm to be grafted onto my face. The result of the procedure is beyond my expectations. The skin graft took to my face very well indeed, and it has blended well with the surrounding tissue on my face. For me, however, the most outstanding gift I received from Mr Dunne was his inclusion of me, the patient, in the overall healing process and journey back to full health. I felt treated very much as an individual, as a person, rather than just as a patient number, and, for me, that's what excellent health care is all about.

Mr Jonathan Dunne made and is making my cancer journey bearable. From the pre surgery consultations and procedure explanations to the operation aftercare and my subsequent appointments. I feel very comfortable knowing that Jonathon Dunne is managing my progress and aftercare requirements.

I've seen Dr Jonathan Dunne quite a few times due to a problem that developed on the skin on one side of my nose. I had seen a different doctor before who unfortunately made me feel more worried and anxious because of how little explanation I could get. Mr Dunne was always VERY clear and thorough. He also made sure to follow up on any developments and treated my issue with outmost professionalism. He was always really clear and nice to colleagues working with him which was also a sign of his integrity and good treatment to others. I am really grateful to him for treating my skin and sorting out the problem at a time when it was very difficult for most doctors working for the NHS (Spring-Summer 2020 and I also saw him a few times in 2021).

Jonathan Dunne is an exceptional surgeon. He has a wonderful bedside manner, was informative at answering all my questions and did a very professional abdominal surgery on me. Not only has it helped a lot functionally but it also looks wonderful too! I can't recommend him enough and am so pleased with the results.

Instinctively I felt confident that he knew the best way forward in dealing with my particular problem, and I was therefore happy to put myself in his hands. He carefully & clearly explained the procedure and the realistic outcome and as I result I couldn't have felt more positive and relaxed going into the operation. Aside from his obvious technical skill, Mr Dunne is exquisitely well mannered, attentive and patient. I am sure he has a long list every day, and I'm equally sure he makes every patient feel as important as he made me feel. The NHS is very fortunate to have such high calibre surgeons.

Mr Dunne was absolutely wonderful as my surgeon. He is very caring, understanding and definitely tries to meet patients desires and requirements to the best of his ability. He is patiently answered my long list of questions and and reassured me of concerns that I had. He thoroughly and clearly explained how the procedure is going to be carried out, any complications that may occur and how to take care of myself after discharge. Mr Dunne definitely made a positive difference in my life as I had lost a lot of confidence in myself. However, after my procedure, I feel like a new person! At my follow up appointment, seeing how happy I was, Mr Dunne was also very delighted and shared my happiness with me. He is definitely a surgeon that I recommend to anyone!
