Mr Dunne explained the procedure in detail. His surgical skill was excellent. The procedure was completely painless. There was no infection. My wounds healed properly and quickly with very little scar formation.

Having ongoing surgical procedures with plastic surgery I have always found things have been explained to me and the procedures done even that the appearance of scars would not be too unsightly. The nurses in the dressings department have always been helpful and friendly the same as the macmillan nurse in attendance. Overall what can be a traumatic procedure has not been so.

It was a very calm and informative appointment. Jonathan carefully assessed and diagnosed the lipoma on my arm during the consultation. He explained what a lipoma is, the procedure itself and the risks of the procedure even if it is a small percentage. The procedure itself was pain free, the local anaesthetic helped with having no pain throughout the removal itself. I was kept in the loop throughout the removal and checked up to ensure I was doing okay both by Jonathan and the nurse. I was handed a clear guidance of my aftercare after it was verbally explained to me. Overall, I am was and still am very pleased with the procedure and outcome as I felt in safe hands the whole time.

Mr. Dunne patiently listened to my concerns about having my finger amputated. As a musician an amputation would have had a profound affect on my life. I asked if there was an alternative and he carefully outlined a procedure that he could try. He also explained the risks involved and the need for ongoing monitoring of my lymph nodes etc with PET scans and MRI scans. He said the procedure may take some time but once he had operated I just needed to attend outpatients for a few weeks to have my dressing changed. My finger has healed I continue to have normal movement and articulation and Mr. Dunne continues to monitor me regularly.
