Jason gave me confidence in the pre op discussion and procedure was successful. Follow up was prompt as well

At the initial consultation, Jason Ho was very informative and suggested several options allowing me to go away and take my time to make my decision. Between the initial consultation and the surgery I could clarify any additional queries I had via email or phone. He was very patient and explained everything clearly to me which enabled me to make my final decision. I opted for multi-focal lenses and had both eyes done on the same day. During surgery Jason was very reassuring, asking how I was doing and keeping me informed. After performing surgery on the first eye he double checked to see if I was happy to continue with surgery on the second eye, which I was. I am very pleased I chose Jason Ho and so glad I had both eyes done at the same time.

Jason Ho is an excellent eye surgeon. I recently had a vitrectomy and IOL replacement operation and I’m extremely pleased with the outcome. From the outset, Mr Ho was very thorough in his explanation of the procedure and the associated risks. His high level of professionalism and attention to detail went all the way though to the actual surgery and post operation consultation. At no point in the process did I feel uninformed and isolated. I’m now approaching one week since my surgery and I’m well on my way to making a full recovery. I really cannot thank Mr Ho enough for all that he has done for my vision. Thank you.

Mr Ho discussed the sudden loss of sight in my right eye, and quickly arranged to operate the following morning. He explained in detail what the procedure would involve and whilst any op on the eye can seem pretty daunting, Mr Ho was reassuring and his calm and professional manner soon put my mind at rest. His diagnosis and efficiency in taking immediate action to correct my vision, demonstrates the very best our NHS has to offer, and having seen him post operation, I would like to pass my thanks for his kindness and care.

A calm engaging specialist who gives the patient every confidence that he is in control. He described the problem and the proposed resolution clearly. On the day of surgery his approach was as described and the surgery seemed to be completed efficiently and without any major concerns. Eye surgery conducted under local anaesthetic is disconcerting but in reality the experience on the day was conducted ina calm relaxed atmosphere. During surgery my biggest challenge was staying alert and awake! I found Mr Ho’s calm assured manner totally reassuring and the results both immediately and in the longer term have been better than I expected. I feel fortunate to have been able to use the Prince Charles Eye Unit and to have had Mr Ho as the surgeon.
