Dr. James Woolley is a Consultant Psychiatrist specialising in mental health conditions in adults at Schoen Clinic Chelsea in London. Recently awarded Consultant Psychiatrist of the Year 2023 in London, Dr. Woolley brings a wealth of expertise to his practice.

Dr. Woolley's journey began with his medical training at St Mary's Hospital Medical School in London. He then pursued specialisation in psychiatry at the renowned Maudsley Hospital and Institute of Psychiatry. Furthering his education, Dr. Woolley obtained a degree in psychology from University College London and achieved Membership of the Royal College of Physicians at The Royal Free Hospital London.

He gained additional experience in psychiatry in Sydney, Australia. His achievements include being elected to prestigious Fellowships of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (FRCPsych) in 2021 and the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP) in 2023.

Dr. Woolley has held a variety of specialist posts, allowing him to develop expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions. From anxiety and depression to bipolar disorder, he employs evidence-based medication and psychological therapy.

Active involvement in research at The Institute of Psychiatry at King's College London has led Dr. Woolley to contribute to numerous publications in high-impact peer-reviewed scientific journals.
