Mr Abboudi was a pleasure to have as a urologist, not only did he effectively deal with my problem but his explanations, and guidance throughout the process was first class. He has also given me feedback on the future and how to avoid problems, which is really useful!

I have been seeing Mr Abboudi for just over a year now in connection with my benign prostatic hyperplasia condition. I have not experienced his surgical skills, as his recommendation was for me to have a prostatic artery embolisation procedure, carried out by an interventional radiologist colleague of his. This led to some improvement in my symptoms. This improvement continues under Mr Abboudi's care, where I have welcomed his strategy of looking to improve my condition through medication and lifestyle changes, rather than resorting to further procedures, which he knows I hope to avoid. I have always found him to be a good listener and clear and concise in his advice. I feel involved, as, in particular, he has been courteous in his responses to the suggestions I have made based on internet research and my discussions with other men I know who have had prostate problems. Maybe it goes without saying that a consultant should inspire trust and confidence in their patient, but treat this as me saying it anyway as regards Hamid Abboudi!
