About
Dr Sharon Crichlow is a Consultant Dermatologist who covers all aspects of general dermatology, including inflammatory skin diseases (psoriasis, eczema and acne), skin infections (warts, fungal infections), skin cancer, removal of skin lesions, skin pigmentation and Allergic Dermatitis. She began to develop an interest in skin conditions as she had acne as a teenager, and this inclined her to understand more about skin diseases. She is therefore highly dedicated in providing the best services and care to her patients and improving both the appearance and health of the skin.
Dr Crichlow qualified in Medicine from the University of the West Indies and then moved to the UK where she specialised in Dermatology. She undertook training in Internal medicine at Derriford Hospital in Plymouth before completing her training in Dermatology at the University of Leicester Teaching Hospitals in 2008. She was then appointed as Consultant at Luton and Dunstable Hospital in 2009 and worked as a substantive consultant and Educational Supervisor there until 2017. Her current NHS base is West Herts NHS Trust and she consults privately at OSD Healthcare in Hemel Hempstead and Spire Harpenden Hospital.
Apart from her clinical work, she enjoys watching movies, reading, cooking and spending time with friends and family.
