Dr Richard Penrose is a General Adult Psychiatry Consultant currently working at the private practises Priory Hospital Roehampton in London and Ashtead Hospital in Surrey. He has many specialities including anxiety disorders including panic and phobic disorders, depressive disorders and bipolar disorder.

Dr Penrose is highly qualified with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, Licentiate of Royal College of Physicians, Doctor of Podiatric Medicine and Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. He became a Consultant at St George's and Springfield Hospitals in London and Epsom General and West Park Hospitals in Surrey. His many years of experience and qualifications make him an expert in his field.

Dr Penrose has served as a member of the Board of examiners at the Royal College of Psychiatrists and was a founding member of the British Association for Psychopharmacology. He has also been the Chairman of various committees including the Medical Staff Committee for Mid Surrey Mental Health Services. He has also published many peer-reviewed scientific journals about topics including the treatment of depression and life events utilising his expert knowledge.
