Dr Raashed gained his primary medical qualification in 1986, after which he trained in a variety of hospitals in UK in General Medicine to obatin his MRCP from Royal College of Physicians of London in 1994. Afterwards he trained in his area of interest- Pulmonolgy, in Wales and West Midlands gaining entry in specialist register of the GMC for General Medicine in 1998 and Respiratory medicine in year 2000.
His special interest includes Cough, COPD, Asthma and obstructive sleep apnoea and advises on health and lifestyle choices to modify risk factors for diseases and morbidities.
He focusses predominantly in health promotion and disease prevention whilst identifying disorders and illnesses to treat them and help improve quality of life and longevity.

I was extremely impressed with how soon Dr. Raashed was able to book me in for an appointment with communication always being apt and professional. On meeting Dr. Raashed I was delighted by his mannerisms and felt well informed during the consultation. Dr Raashed provided the expert care that I required. He was able to diagnose the cause of my symptoms which my GP practice could not. He prescribed the critical medications that turned my health around quickly. I felt like he saved my life as my condition had been ongoing for over 3 months and was getting worse. His manner was excellent and listened carefully to me. He has an in depth knowledge of respiratory illnesses. I would highly recommend him.
