Good . It was a good consultation but was quite short. An extended consultation would have been better in order to get the best treatment for the condition.

I have finally after 10 years been properly diagnosed with GORD by Dr Besherdas and will probably take the jump and have the operation! He really listens to his patients and gets to the bottom of the problem. Will definitely recommend.

After over 11 years of being told I had IBS and not given much help in managing it, or if there was any underlying cause I finally got referred to Dr. Besherdas, he sent me for a few tests to rule out various things and finally got to the bottom of what's been causing me years of discomfort! Would not hesitate to recommend him, he's been instrumental in me now finally feeling better, with a caring attitude and a genuinely lovely Doctor to deal with as a patient. If I never need further treatment I would definitely return to see him.

I have a problem with reflux which means I have been unable to eat properly. I was originally referred to Dr. Besherdas eight years ago and he dealt with a stricture in my gullet. The treatment then was excellent. The problem has returned again and he is again carrying out similar treatment. I can thoroughly recommend him for his excellent knowledge, treatment and patient understanding.

I first met Dr Besherdas around ten years ago after being referred directly to him by my GP. On the initial consultation he reassured me and displayed a calming Dr patient relationship. His diagnosis on that occasion was totally correct. The procedures I underwent demonstrated his skills as a surgeon. A few months ago I was told by GP to see a gastroenterologist, I had no hesitation in contacting Dr Besherdas again. Yet again his comforting manner is still evident, his diagnostic skills have proved correct. Yes another faultless patient journey. A Dr I would not hesitate in referring anyone to.

Dr Besherdas is one of the most professional, knowledgeable and understanding doctor I’ve ever met. He take into consideration his patients thoughts, worries and circumstances. Whilst explaining medical science about the human body and possible conditions you may have or explanations as to why you’re having to visit him, he does so on a level that is easy to understand for non medical people. You always know where you stand and what’s due to happen in the future, regards to possible treatment, procedures or appointments. He makes the whole experience easy and less daunting. Whilst going to visit a consultant is not something you want to be doing, meeting Dr Besherdas was a lovely experience. If I need medical help in the future within his medical field, I will be sure to see him again.

Dr Besherdas has been treating me for various stomach and bowel (gastrointestinal) conditions for the past 5 years, he has always been attentive, professional and clearly an expert in his field and I would wholeheartedly recommend his services should you ever need them, I have the utmost faith in his diagnosis and the required remedy. He has also undertaken both a gastroscopy and colonoscopy on me, I dreaded both, but for absolutely no reason, he made the processes both painless, dignified and allayed all of my concerns, whilst accurately diagnosing my condition.
