Dr Jenkins is a very good listener. He explains things clearly and is always reassuring. He has looked after me and my medullary thyroid cancer since 2004 - and is always quick to investigate any symptoms which helps alleviate anxiety. He really is an excellent consultant.

When I first met Dr Jenkins, his ability to put me at ease and explain things without medical jargon was refreshingly different to previous medical experiences elsewhere. I have been reviewed on a regular basis and again with compassion and humility - not just from Dr Jenkins but also his secretary Suzanne. Nothing is too much trouble for either of them. I have total faith in Dr Jenkins and his team and personally thank them for my experience- making an unsure and stressful period one that is manageable, concise, friendly and supportive.

Dr Jenkins has helped me so much with my Thyroid problem! He’s an expert in his field , exceedingly professional and always ready to listen! He also discovered another underlying problem I had that hadn’t been picked up by my GP! I would definitely recommend seeing Dr Jenkins if you have any Thyroid issues!

I feel blessed to be fortunate enough to have Dr Jenkins as my consultant. At the moment with the medical world pushed and overstretched, it is hard to feel confident that my medical issues and symptoms will be sorted. However Dr Jenkins always listens, he takes time to consider what I have said. I am very grateful for this. He thinks holistically and sometimes tweaks prescriptions or suggests alternative/additional options so I can manage more on my own and improve. I greatly look forward to my appointments with Dr Jenkins as despite my rubbish descriptions, he 'gets' what I am experiencing when most people don't. Life long conditions do take their toll but Dr Jenkins remains very kind and tolerant with them all!

I have been seeing Dr Jenkins for 5 years due to my under active thyroid, and can highly recommend having been recommended myself by one of his former colleagues.

Dr Jenkins helped me at a time when I had been struggling to get adequate care via the NHS for thyroid complications. After 10 months of feeling extremely ill, I was back on my feet within six weeks having had a severely overactive thyroid that just wasn't being brought under control. I was ultimately able to successfully come off treatment for a long time. Many years later we are back to treatment due to my thyroid, a little unusually, swinging back the other way to underactive. Although a slower process, we're climbing the hill to get me functioning as close to normal as possible. When it comes to thyroid treatment, the NHS simply doesn't agree to test the different hormones you must in order to gain an accurate picture. It's an ongoing frustration for many people who are told their thyroid is healthy when in fact it may be very far from the truth. I would implore anyone who is unsure to at least get a full thyroid panel done before you assume a basic TSH reading means everything is fine. Dr Jenkins was excellent and essentially has helped me get my life back on track each time I have needed help.

I had a very detailed, unrushed visit and a solid follow up. All my concerns were addressed by Dr Jenkins. I highly recommend him.
