Dr. Chammas is very knowledgeable in her area, has great manners and is very friendly. I definitely recommend her if you have any issues with the thyroid gland and other autoimmune diseases.

Dr Nida Chammas is clearly an experienced Endocrinologist who dealt with my condition with great knowledge & expertise. My complaint lies in the administration I received while under her care. For my 3 appointments with Nida, she was late all 3 times. Once by 20 minutes, which is excusable. Another by 45 minutes, which is frustrating. And a third by almost 2 hours, which I will get to. Running late can be par for the course when receiving treatment, but it's uncommon in private medical. For it to happen so consistently leads to me to believe that she needs to change her system. When dealing with her assistant, she frequently made mistakes and at one point accidentally cancelled an appointment for reasons that still escape me. Lastly, and perhaps most egregiously, was how my test results were communicated to me. I received a brain MRI for a suspected tumour on Monday; I had a follow-up appointment booked in to discuss this with Nida on the following Wednesday. However, on the Tuesday morning, I received a call from Nida's assistant saying that Nida wished to speak to me that evening at 7pm to discuss the results. I asked the assistant if this was anything to worry about - and if she could explain why Nida needed to speak to me so urgently. The assistant would not tell me. That meant I spent the entirety of Tuesday thinking that I had brain cancer and I was going to die. It wasn't a great afternoon. 7pm rolled around and Nida was late again, so I sat there with my wife while we tried to distract ourselves from the impending knife drop. It got to 9pm and I eventually got on a call with Nida. She told me the MRI had revealed a very common & treatable pituitary tumour: basically, nothing to worry about. To add insult to injury, that 10 minute call cost me £220. I still don't know to this day why Nida needed to speak to me so urgently that evening. What I do know is that it showed a lack of empathy for what it can be like to receive care. Nida; I wish you all the best and I hope you take this feedback in the way it's intended, which is to highlight some areas for you & your team to improve upon.

Dr Chammas is simply the best doctor I have ever met! She displays a unique combination of professionalism, top expertise and genuine care for the patient. I and my family have been fortunate to see Dr Chammas for the past years and feel safe under her medical and humane supervision! Can recommend her to any other lucky patient :)

Dr Chammas was highly professional and had an excellent patient rapport. She was incredibly thorough in her questioning and listened intently to my answers. She was informative and reassuring and made very good decisions about my care. I felt that I received excellent care from her throughout.
