I have had two consultations with Dr Shahidi, following the appearance of an anomaly on a CT chest scan. During the first consultation Dr Shahidi seemed efficient, scrupulously professional, and thorough in her physical examination and taking a history. She seemed to me to demonstrated clarity in both the relevant investigative decision, and in communicating her thoughts, pitched accurately to my level of understanding. She arranged for me to have a PET scan for further investigation, and this and the follow up consultation were arranged with expedition. At the second consultation Dr Shahidi was again clear and sympathetic. She has a lovely knack in her bedside manner of putting one at ease.
