Lilian was exceptional during my laparoscopy in January, and after fortunately conceiving a few months later she was very quick to offer a 9 week scan. We could not recommend her highly enough.

She was very pleasant, kinda and helpful.

Our treatment began with follicle tracking and clomid. Lilian was very flexible with her schedule to meet with us early in the mornings which really helped me and my husbands busy work schedule. Following a second pregnancy for us that sadly ended very early on Lilian quickly pushed for further blood tests and genetic testing. Then when I was diagnosed with my genetic Karyotype she was really good at explaining what was going on and what next steps we could take. Her professionalism and also her amazing support and compassion really came through and comforted us in such a hard time. Even after we have been referred she has gone one step further and prepared further tests for us so we are totally prepared for the next step, wait to be referred at the CRGH for PGD IVF

Lilian took the time to reassure me constantly and explain everything that was going on. She went above and beyond to offer me scans out of hours and sent me all my scan reports by email extremely promptly.

Dr Lilian Ugwumadu came into our lives at an incredibly difficult time, which was made slightly easier by her professionalism and kindness. Lilian always listened empathetically, took our concerns on board and helped us weigh up the pros and cons of potential medical decisions. Lilian was also thorough and ensured that the correct procedures were followed for the medication I had been placed on. Lilian then fought for us to have access to treatment that we otherwise would have needed to wait much longer for without her medical recommendation and determination to help us. Dr Lilian is a fantastic doctor and I cannot recommend her highly enough! Undergoing fertility problems is an extremely stressful situation for any couple wanting to start a family and Dr Lilian explained everything clearly and step by step in a caring and professional way. I had a lot of issues (fibroids, cysts, not ovulating, possible endometriosis ...) and although Dr Lilian made me fully aware of exactly what was going on, during all of my check ups she never highlighted all of the issues at once which I was really grateful for (preventing overwhelm!). She was always realistic but really positive. Dr Lilian has gone above and beyond in her duty of care and has provided both myself and my husband with a lot of support in the months that I was seeing her. I am so grateful for the fact that she was so approachable, explained everything clearly and with terminology I could understand. She really made me feel at ease during all of my scans and check ups. Dr Lilian is a wonderful asset to the hospital and my husband and I are really excited to now be 19 weeks pregnant and doing well. Lilian helped both my husband and I in a multitude of ways. She is unbelievably kind, caring and understanding. She helped not only solve any issues we were experiencing but also explain the reasons for it and how to overcome it. Both my husband and I's Outlook was overturned to help resolve these problems and overcome them in a more positive way. She's an absolute pleasure to deal with. What an asset!
