He was thorough, explained what was happening to my skin and the likely cause. He gave me a detailed regime to follow over a number of weeks and was very confident of its outcome ... I had been feeling very despondent and he helped enormously.

Dr Hickey has treated a number of basal cell carcinomas for me resulting in surgery to remove one of them. He is exceptionally thorough, answers questions very patiently and I have had complete confidence in him. He communicates well as does his secretary who has made me feel very valued as a patient and has been a delight to deal with.

I was feeling very low when my GP suggested I seek advice privately for my condition. He supplied me with three telephone numbers and I contacted Dr. Hickey. (the first number on the list). Dr. Hickey was extremely kind and took time to listen to me describing my condition and how I was feeling. A face to face appointment was made and from the beginning I was put completely at ease. Dr. Hickey explained everything in detail regarding my treatment, advising me that treatment may take a long while to gain success but that there were many options (drugs) that could be tried. All this in a very caring way.

Dr Hickey is fantastic, he explained everything clearly and without jargon. I had a number of small surgical procedures and they were performed with great skill and care. His medical PA Caroline is awesome.

Doctor Hickey was excellent. He kept me fully informed through from initial consultation until the procedure was completed. I found he in to be th3 consummate professional but with a friendly and pleasant bedside manner. He conducted the procedure quickly and efficiently and I had full confidence in his medical skills.
