Active Stand Test for investigation of POTS syndrome
I am attached to the Hampden Sports Clinic, Hampden Park Glasgow where i provide cardiology expertise. The clinic screens most professinal footballers in Scotland and this has been extended recently to athletes of all disciplines. I have a network of expert consultants that i can call upon for specialist advice if need be.
I am fully conversant with the athlete's ECG
I also provide cardiology advice and interpretation to central Scotland Aeromedical Advisers who in turn manage pilots and air traffic controllers for the CAA. I am fully conversant with the CAA regulations with regard to cardiovascular disease.
When in full time clinical practice I was listed as a specialist in POTS syndrome and have maintained this and expect this to be a growing filed with the development of Long Covid.
