Daniel Krell is a 'super star' who has managed the treatments for our amazing daughter who suffered from advanced and aggressive neuroendocrine cancer diagnosed in 2015. He was kind, extremely hard working and did everything in his 'medical tool box' to keep Miranda alive and as well as possible and living an active and sporty life until she passed away a month ago. I believe that Dan and the team he worked with are proud of how they managed to prolong Miranda's life and were dreadfully sad when the cancer finally overtook her liver. Dan is a special kind of medical professional who works harder than anyone I know and who is always looking to push the boundaries and advance medical science and treatments to improve outcomes for patients. We will always be grateful for all he did to help Miranda.

Dan took over from Andy Guya and therefore had to quickly get up to speed with my treatment and of course form that all important patient bond and trust. I can only commend Dan for how excellently he's done this. I'm not an easy case, I don't suppose many are! Dan and his team quickly realised I'm a bit fastidious about planning ahead and have been great at accommodating all the dates around my work, rugby and holidays!

In my opinion, and in the opinion of my wife, Dr. Dan Krell is the epitome of a true clinician. Cancer patients are faced with a multitude of issues that clinicians cannot always resolve, but they can be empathetic, supportive, and thoughtful and this is Dr. Dan Krell. He is someone who cares for the well-being of his patients. He delivers their prognosis in a manner that enables them and their partner to understand every step of their treatment, to make their own informed decisions, and is reassuring but never promising.

Dan has looked after me very well, I have always felt I can ask anything and will get a detailed and thoughtful response. When he gives results of scans and plans for next steps I always feel included in the discussion and leave with a full understanding of any future treatment. I have had two big complications this year, I raised both of these with Dan and he dealt with them very well and involved other specialists as soon as required which I am certain helped save my life in 2021. I will try and keep complications to a minimum from now on!

Dr Krell is the consultant treating my mum’s cancer and he is very knowledgeable and experienced in what he does. We found him to be a good listener and is easily accessible through his medical team and is quick to respond when contacted with any queries. He also explains treatment clearly during consultations and puts the patient at the center of treatment. We are very happy with our experience of him so far and mum is on the right treatment.
