Dr Martinez helped us with our baby’s severe eczema. We were back and forth with GP, endless antibiotics, steroid creams, antihistamines to no avail. After seeing Dr Martinez, skin started to clear up and heal just a few days after recommended treatment. It is really different to bring your baby to someone who specialises on the condition. Now my baby sleeps better, doesn’t scratch as much, very comfortable, great disposition. She is totally a different baby now. We are now trying to continue to heal her skin and try to control flare ups. But for now, she is the strongest and happiest little 6 month old who continues to battle her eczema.

Dr Anna Martinez listened to the problems we have regarding our daughter's eczema and what we hope to achieve by having a private consultation as we were just going in circles with the GP.

Dr Martinez listened carefully to everything we had to say. She examined my daughters skin, carefully being very gentle and sympathetic to her eczema. Dr Martinez explained what she was doing the whole time and wrote down a clear course of action for us to follow. She asked my daughter at the if she had any questions or wanted her to repeat or explain anything further.

My son started suffering from eczema when he was 2 months old. When he was about 4 months old, his eczema got infected by bacteria. We had gone to the GP and also another dermatologist, but she was not able to detect the infection. My son suffered for months. Thankfully, we got to know about Dr Anna and went for a consultation with her. Dr Anna was so efficient and took a skin swab. Within two days it confirmed that my son had a bacterial infection. My son was put on antibiotics, which sorted the infection out. The new skin care routine that we were put on by Dr Anna, worked well with him. He does have flare ups, but it's all in control thanks to Dr Anna. I will never forget how she changed our lives.

Our son has suffered from dry skin and eczema since he was around 3 months old. After months of trying different creams and speaking to different GPs with no success, we took him to see Dr Martinez who devised a treatment plan which cleared his skin in less than a week! She was a pleasure to deal with and is obviously an expert in her field. We would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone in our position and are so grateful that we know who to turn to should he have skin concerns in the future. Many thanks!

We have had 3 clinic visits so far and are very pleased to see that our child's skin has healed after following Dr Martinez's management plan. Dr Martinez took extra care and time to speak to us during the follow-up visits and address our questions/concerns including appropriate referral to an allergy consultant. We would certainly consider a consult again should it be needed. The admin staff at the Portland Hospital are welcoming and efficient. Waiting areas are clean and well maintained.

Dr Martinez is a lovely doctor and she took very good care of our toddler. She was very attentive and patient and answered all our questions. She also communicates well and comes back to queries promptly. We would definitely see her again.
