Dr ATM Dilshad Hossain Chowdhury is a Consultant Gastroenterologist with an NHS base at North Middlesex University, where he is also the leading consultant of the Nutrition Department. He also sees patients privately, including at The Wellington Hospital. Dr Chowdhury sees patients with a range of conditions including general gastrointestinal problems, including inflammatory bowel disease, gastrointestinal dysmotility, nutrition and irritable bowel symptoms. He has extensive experience in gastroscopy, colonoscopy, invasive and non-invastive gastrointestinal procuedures, including percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy and total parenteral nutirion.

Dr Chowdhury completed specialty training in gastroenterology and general medicine at the Wessex Deanery and received his MBBS in 1996. He was involved in research into 'Enteric dysmotility and nutrition' research at Imperial College and has attended several national and international conferences and seminars related to his research topic.
