Ching-Yun (Tina) Wang is an experienced Dental Hygienist and Therapist at The London Centre for Implant & Aesthetic Dentistry (LCIAD) whose passion and expertise have made her an invaluable asset to the field of oral health and hygiene. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Oral Health at the University of Otago in New Zealand in 2015. Tina brings a unique blend of skills and dedication to her role, her focus extends to the treatment of patients grappling with advanced, destructive periodontal disease and peri-implant disease, as well as the meticulous care of patients with extensive dental work.

Dental hygiene serves as the bedrock of success at LCIAD, and Tina's role as a dental hygienist and therapist is integral to this approach. She believes that more frequent hygienist visits, ideally every three months, are pivotal to achieving better long-term dental health, mitigating disease, and prolonging the effectiveness of treatment results.

Her introduction to LCIAD was marked by a seamless professional bond when she stepped in to cover for a colleague during a significant moment, a testament to her reliability and adaptability.

During hygiene and therapy appointments, Tina goes beyond the surface, meticulously documenting any areas of concern while collaboratively working with patients to prevent the progression of disease and ensuring impeccable dental hygiene that spans a lifetime.

As a dental hygienist and therapist, Tina offers an array of services that encompass the diagnosis and treatment of gum disease, including gingivitis and periodontitis. She extends her expertise to children's dentistry, encompassing procedures such as fissure sealing, along with basic adult dentistry under local anesthesia. She brings her touch to tooth whitening, clinical examinations, dietary and anti-smoking advice, dental hypersensitivity treatment, oral cancer screening, and even sutures removal after surgery. Additionally, she skilfully places and removes orthodontic bands and archwires as prescribed by orthodontists.
