Hello, my name is Ashley-louise and I have worked in the NHS for ten years+. I have experience caring for individuals with complex needs, from elimination and mobility needs to essential care including dressing and helping individuals with hygiene. I have cared for individuals with PEG feeds, catheters and tracheostomies. I have worked on an acute respiratory ward in the Royal Berkshire Hospital, an acute trauma and injury ward at John Radcliffe, an orthopaedic ward in Nuffield Orthopaedic centre and Frimley Park Hospital. I have also worked in multiple community pharmacies and an online pharmaceutical company. In my free time I have qualified as a personal trainer and have a diploma in that and nutrition. I am also currently doing a degree in Health and Social Care. It’s been an honour to work alongside every single individual I have cared for; I am now looking for a role away from clinical spaces where I can really focus on giving personalised care to someone and make a difference to their life. I am currently undertaking my health and social care degree alongside having a family with two young children. I love to cook, go shopping, talk and enjoy a good cup of tea and a chat. I also thoroughly enjoy completing puzzles and going for walks. I am an easy going, happy and compassionate individual. I am reliable and trustworthy with great communication skills. I can help with whatever needs to be done- I am just happy to help.
