I have complete faith and trust in Dr Chow's expertise and skills in cardiology and have highly recommended him to others. He is also expert in the "art" of medicine and appreciates how vital that skill is in instilling a patient's confidence in him, and how it provides much needed reassurance for the patient in a world where the delivery of medicine seems to be being driven by technocrats along a path becoming more and more impersonal and remote from the actual patient with the employment of advanced technologies. Dr Chow's people skills have also been of immense importance during the uncertain times of Covid when the restrictions imposed by Covid disease control policies have led, in many parts of the country, to further distancing between the roles of patient and doctor, which in itself can cause distress and a feeling of isolation for patients. Not so with Dr Chow.

He makes one feel at ease when explaining medical procedures which can be/seem complicated for the patient to comprehend and he will gladly explain and answer any questions which the patient may have or already asked many times before. Dr Chow has been very consistent and calm with me. I arrived with him after a couple of Cardioversion treatments failed, and I was referred to him for an ablation operation. He came highly recommended by people I respect. I was not disappointed. His knowledge and patience explaining my heart health was second to none. the operation was carried out with complete success. I was worried when symptoms recurred intermittently after the operation, but he assured me this can happen as things settled down. Now it is 18 months later, and my heart health is better in every measurable dimension. I have a lower resting heart rate than I can ever remember, down from 180-200bpm, with associated poor heart function, to 75-90bpm, with no abnormal rhythm detected, and a normal ejection fraction (Healthy heart function). I am so grateful for everything, and I don't hesitate to recommend Dr Chow.

His easy manner is immediately reassuring and that certainly helps to give one the confidence that however daunting the procedure he recommends it is the best way forward.
