I have always had a great experience with The Harper Clinic. Dr Harper really takes her time in explaining everything and is very supportive.

Sadly the Clinic dispenses their hormones through Parkhall Pharmacy which is the most disorganized pharmacy I have come across. I have waited so far 9 days to receive my hormones (still waiting), despite ringing 4 times to chase them! Terrible service.

I have been looked after by Dr Harper for the last year and the level of service and understanding is amazing, she is always available quickly to discuss any issues and always comes up with a solutions to combat whatever symptoms I have been experiencing.

My first consultation with Dr Harper was outstanding. She has a very relaxed approach which makes her incredibly easy to talk to. She explained everything very clearly in terms that made it very easy to understand. I don’t even have my medication yet but am already feeling better and so much more positive.

Dr Harper is a fantastic approachable doctor, invested heavily in supporting women through menopause.

Holistic approach to my wellbeing. Time was spent understanding me, my needs and how best to support.

At first I was happy with the treatment, however the doctor failed to take a full medical.history. After taking my bloods she informed me I was hypothyroid which shocked me as I had not been ill in 10 year; she prescribed me levothyroxine. She did not tell me anything about the condition. I felt a bit lost and worried because I was being diagnosed with something quite serious, with no information. I saw an endocrinologist after and they saw the blood test results that prompted Dr Harper to prescribe me levithyroxine, and they were shocked. They said I should never have been put on the medication. They said my blood test results were borderline and that a supplement of selenium normally sorts this out. They took my bloods again and found that I was now hyperthyroidism and asked if I was suffering any heart palpitations. I said yes. I came off the medication immediately and then took selenium supplements. After 3 weeks, my bloods were normal. I have since been to hospital with fluctuations in my heart rate, which I hope will subside. She did not pass on any medical records to my GP who was also shocked at the fact she had diagnosed me with hypothyroidism and had not contacted in forwarded any details. When I emailed her and told her she potentially put my health at risk, she responded saying that my email was not good for her mental well being and that she may contact her solicitor against me. I responded by telling her I had fat more evidence that she was negligent. She then tried to calm the situation. I asked her again what she would prescribe me now, as far as hormones are concerned, since I had a bad time with what she had prescribed before. I was asking so I could tell my doctor. She then said, I don't think I can treat you anymore. In all honesty, I was not looking to be treated by her again, I was just getting information for my GP. My GP still has no records from her. I hope this review helps someone else. I may have eneded up with heart complications die to the medication I was prescribed by her. I dont like writing bad reviews, but this fir me is serious, because my health was put in serious risk.

Really efficient and great service. Doc and her staffs are very warm and friendly. Doc is very knowledgeable and empathetic towards my peri menopause issues.
