Overall, I was very impressed with my experience. The only criticism was that the receptionist went in to see her colleague and referred to me (within earshot) as "she". I thought she could, perhaps have referred to me as "Mrs Sampson" or "Mr Mace's patient". Otherwise, everything was fine.

I am an NHS patient so I was a little confused about the process afterwards and I thought I would receive the notes that Dr Brookes was writing during the appointment so that I had a reminder of all the steps to follow based on his diagnosis: there were a couple of medications to take and then two more steps to follow if those don't work. For my own sake and for relaying information back to my NHS GP, it would be very useful for me to have notes. Perhaps I will receive them shortly, but I'm not sure if that is the case so I will be asking for them as well. I'm also unsure now as to what cost things may be if I need follow up care with Dr Brookes instead of my NHS GP. I will call to clarify.
