All the staff, from receptionists through to the Drs/ Consultants treated me with patience and explained in detail, various options available.

From attending an open evening, to having refractive lens exchange surgery, and on to post operative care and support, I have to say, the whole experience was facilitated easily and the results of my surgery were fantastic, far exceeding what I expected. All of the staff / optemetrists / nurses / theatre & eyesight testing staff were super knowledgable, caring, reassuring and compassionate. My Consultant Opthalmic Surgeon was Mr Alex Shortt, who in my view is a brilliant Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon. What I liked about the whole process was the fact that I saw the same Surgeon from initial consultation through to the actual surgery and post operative consultations. This increased my confidence in the whole process and influenced my decision to have the surgery done with Optegra. The facilities and the eye testing equipment are super modern, this and the expert knowledge, skill and expertise of Mr Alex Shortt, assuring me I was in expert hands. I would, without hesitation recommend Optegra Eye Hospital Surrey at Guildford as a hospital to begin the journey to improve your sight. It has for me and has given me a new lease of life (No exaggeration!).
