Couldn't fault it and was especially impressed with the bedside manner of the surgeon

Had both eyes done within three weeks as an NHS patient great service.

The whole process was quick and efficient with minimal waiting time. Each operation itself took about 10 minutes and I had no adverse effects. I was due to have two cataract operations and the gap between the first and the second caused me a lot of difficulty with one eye fine and the other requiring correction. Because my prescription magnified images on the untreated eye there was little point in changing one lens in my glasses to zero correction. It would have been much better to have had both eyes done at the same time.

A very efficient and welcoming experience, nothing was too much trouble.

The actual Cateract Surgery I did not like it at all.When I was having the drops put in I did not feel them working I did say to the nurse her reply it not always go numb. During the procedure I felt every thing they were doing,I couldn't wait to get out.When I got home a little while later the eye was very sore every time I blinked, First Eye I had done I never felt a thing. I went yesterday to the Opticians during checking my eye he did say my eye could have been scratched during procedure.

This was my second cataract surgery at Guildford - I was contacted by phone offering an appointment early due to a cancellation, even before I'd received the letter about the original appointment. As for the 1st surgery it was quick and efficient with no problems. After the 6 weeks I had my follow-up and full eye test at my opticians - the only slight problem then was a bit of Astigmatism in my 2nd eye (which I knew about). Very impressed with the service - even though they were NHS referrals.

Treatment very good , the people very nice unfortunately the person doing the treatment got stuck in traffic and was 1 hour late.
