Professional and friendly staff. The hygienist was particularly helpful and knowledgeable.

I was very pleased with the service that I received from the hygienist. Less so the service from the dentist. It appeared to be a very cursory examination after which he said that there were no problems. He seemed to spend more time giving unasked for corny jokes and quips! I expected a more professional service for the money.

I have been a patient of Damira Dental Studios /Maycroft Dental Practice for more than 20 years. Apart from the COVID period where treatments were restricted I have always found the practice to be good.

Reception staff were unfriendly, unsmiling and general attitude/customer service lacking and not what I would expect. Dentist was friendly and cheerful. Asked a lot of questions about my eating habbits and health which I've not experienced before. However, I came away feeling that the emphasis was on my gums. I didn't feel the dentist looked at/checked any fillings I have. when telling the dental nurse what teeth I have, it wasn't noticed that I have a veneer over my top right 'C' tooth and I had to mention this, which I feel is something that should be noticeable from underneath and also previous records should show the tooth under the veneer is a 'baby' tooth. Rather under-whelmed by my visit, along with past 3 visits. I feel the service given has definitely gone down since I had to change dentists due to my dentist on giving private treatment. Clinician not on next page to review!

Excellent staff, really friendly, professional at all times

The dentist I saw was friendly, kind and professional. He explained what he was doing every step of the way and I felt calm and confident with him. The receptionist, however, was stroppy and very unaccomodating. The first time I put it down to an off day, but she was the same the next 2 visits. Its completely unnecessary to be so rude to patients and I get the impression that had I been private, I would have been spoken to better. I believe her name was Lorna (the name on her coffee mug) but of course it may not have been hers.

I needed an emergency appointment as a molar tooth had broken down to the root, leaving the nerve exposed. I was seen by Dr Lawrence within ten minutes of my arrival and he agreed that there was no further hope for this tooth (which was mostly filling anyway). He therefore took it out without further delay, to my great relief, as I would have been in big trouble with Christmas looming. He did tell me that some teeth 'bounce out' during pulling. Mine was one of those and hit his trouser-leg! All told, it came out without further problem and I am very grateful to him!
