Amazing service! All staff so supportive and worked hard and passionately for my recovery

Facilities and cleanliness needs much improvement. Cost cutting by the company group has evidently been to the detriment of these at Liberty House, and it is clear profits are put before repairing or replacing basic necessities such as laundry facilities and food budgets. The lack of any onsite medical staff is of particular concern, considering the website and admissions team both say their are onsite doctors and nurses. Remote working doctor assigned to me was non-responsive and failed to fulfill their duty of care to any basic level of professional standard.

Should be a lot cleaner. Mattresses should be much less than 20 years old!!! All toilets and showers should be fitted with grab rails. Rules constantly change with zero notice or explanation.

The care I received from most of staff was caring. When i first arrived however the organisation was chaotic. Carla, support staff was a constant source of help - she was the difference between me staying or leaving at times. Steven, support staff was also a great member of staff. I would not recommend Liberty House to another person for treatment for addiction, though, as the facilities are poor and not value for money. I often felt the staff were stretched for time, and care not consistant, depending on staff on. The lack of Doctor on sight was a shock, and often delays in contacting him by email, distressing. There was no psychiatric personnel here on sight either. I feel the online facilities advertised were not accurate as many activities not actually given.

I received the help I needed. The counselors were excellent, especially Costa. It helped me a lot on my way towards full recovery. The activities were very helpful. Some of CI/AA meetings weren't of very much use for me and repetitive. I was dissatisfied with the lack of more detailed information on the living arrangements and rules before I cam in. I would advise to include a more detailed description of what to expect (this is mainly to do with logistics).

My experience of Liberty house has been a positive one. Staff are friendly and Councillors have a lot of experience and expertise. The food is delicious and plentiful. The outside sessions provided have been well received. I would like to thank you for my time spent here.
