In 2020, on the recommendation of a friend, I installed a Howz remote monitoring system in the home of my elderly stepmother, who was physically frail though mentally fully alert. I live 35 miles away and couldn't visit every day, and it was helpful to have an unobtrusive way of being alerted to any departures from the normal daily routine. We used the system for almost four years, until my stepmother's final illness in late 2023, and it was a significant factor in enabling her to continue living in the family home as she wished rather than going into a care home. It was good value and I would use it again if the need arose.

Howz provided me with peace of mind while my mother's health was deteriorating at home. Indeed, I was alerted to at least one specific issue much earlier as a result of the Howz system.
Note that the system was easy to install and was entirely non-invasive.
