I have visited other dentists and always been reluctant to return because of bad experiences etc. My partner registered me with Bury Knowle and recommended Tam - I’ve seen her twice now and she’s fantastic such a difference to see someone who is a lovely person but also great at what she does.

I had the worse dentist ever and would never go back to him again he was very very rude did not like the fact i didnt agree with him and told me to go back to where i went before as it wasnt going to work out between us , never ever meet anyone like that in my life he should be dismissed . I am an ex dental nurse and i know it is possible to crown this tooth and not take the easy way out buy pulling it out .its left me with a fear of the dentist now .

I am overall disappointed with the dentist. Every appointment I make one, it gets cancelled, and this one I went to was apparently cancelled and yet no one told us. We had to wait 10mins to be seen and then we were rushed through as quick as possible. He said my son needed to brush his teeth better and that was it. No clean or anything apart from some fluoride put on his teeth. My appointments has constantly been cancelled and it’s very frustrating

It all depends with which dentist you see some of them are so unprofessional, they clearly do not practice following the NMC codes of conduc.as a health care professional, you must introduce yourself, you must explain the process, you must ask for concent, I visited few times and I was seen with the same lady, she just asked me to sit on the chare ope my mouth and stuck 2 masive nidles in my gums, there was no conversation no questions no explanation of what she was going to do. I was shocked with the level of unprofessionalism, as I said not all of them but some. The one I saw last time was amazing I was glad I was seen with a different dentist. I feel like you get better treatment if you are a private patient and not NHS one, they treat NHS patients as their souse of income. That is what is called SOCIAL CLASS DISCRIMINATION. Which is appalling.

The staff, the building, the dental treatment are all first-rate. I really couldn't fault them. The team at Bury Knowle are a credit to the service. The tacky sales questionnaires sent out a few weeks before treatment are another matter. You are NHS providers, giving treatment based on medical need. I have zero interest in astronomically expensive medically unnecessary cosmetic treatment. I don't need teeth like a piano keyboard, as I'm not American.

I have had extensive (and expensive) dental work and have been treated with care and attention to detail. Would highly recommend.
