Burleigh Hill House joined MD Healthcare in 2016. The nursing home, along with the residential home, is situated in historic Carrickfergus, the purpose-built home has been established for over two decades, offering outstanding care to its residents.

In the nursing part of the home, the team provides care for:

• Nursing, frail and elderly over 65 years
• Nursing, physically disabled, under 65 years

Many of the rooms are single, some are en-suite and there are four shared rooms suitable for couples, siblings or friends as well as for those who enjoy the company of another person. In addition to dayrooms and dining rooms, there are quiet areas around the home which are perfect for families and friends to gather. The recent addition of a beautiful summer house in the garden brings more variety for residents and provides greater opportunity to spend time outdoors.

The in house hairdressing salon is equipped to offer a truly enjoyable experience and meets the standards of any professional salon environment. The staff at Burleigh Hill House are dedicated to making the residence feel as much like home as possible. All members of the team are caring, compassionate to not only the residents but their family circle too, understanding the need to get to know both residents and their families in order to provide the highest quality care.
