I was treated promptly, professionally and with great care at the Glaucoma Clinic both by Mr Kinsella and by his colleagues. The nursing staff were very empathetic and couldn’t be more friendly and caring. I highly recommend this department.

The reason for my "Average" rating for wait time is that there was no instruction of where to go on the day of the procedure and so as I have previously been attended to on the ground floor this is where I waited. It wasn't until after the alloted time that I enquired at the reception desk as was told to go to the first floor. As I was by this time now late the staff were in a rush to process me which led to some stress for them and therefore me. Not an ideal way to start the process. Everything after that was absolutely fine. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

This was my first experience of BPH and I was very satisfied with the overall service, particularly the professional medical aspects. The only issue was obtaining a parking place because of lack of available spaces

Cannot fault the medical staff & it's brilliant they're putting NHS equipment to good use, out of hours. However, the financial process was very poor having never received any form of quote, estimate, T&C's, guidelines etc. prior to the operation, so never sure of what the total cost or coverage of services were going to be. As for post operation, we received multiple inaccurate invoices, most of which we had to collate, validate & challenge before settling. Very happy with final outcome & the professionalism of all the staff concerned, especially Sarah Mailing & Asher, but a shame about the paperwork challenges which added stress to an otherwise beneficial outcome.

My most recent appointment was rather slower than usual. There were some problems powering up equipment due to other equipment being in use. Inexperienced staff didn't set them up quite correctly, resulting in some slight anomalies that the consultant had to check. However, the outcome was good and I felt that I had been well cared for.
