The initial meeting was very useful, with Mr Al Chalabi explaining his diagnosis of my inguinal hernia clearly, giving me useful advice as to what not to do ahead my operation. He offered me an operation within a week of the consultation, but I took one two weeks later. His approach was excellent throughout - a good blend of professional and friendly. The operation went smoothly, and I have been left with limited pain and almost no swelling after the procedure. I almost feel lucky the first consultant let me down, and would recommend Mr Al Chalabi without hesitation.

Mr Dickson-Lowe was very informative and open about all aspects of my surgery. He answered questions. I felt he was very polite and professional at all times which put me at ease.
