Excellent service

Looks grubby and in need of renovation

Good clinic with friendly and helpful staff. More parking would be helpful.

The location was easy to access by car with plenty of parking spaces. The building was modern and clean Cleaners were visible and in action constantly There were useful toilets.which were clean and regularly checked. One was able to make a hot drink from a machine while waiting. As ideal a venue as one could hope for.

Cromwell Hospital was very efficient and kind in dealing with my child and the various tests he needed to have.

No delays or backlog or extended waiting. Plenty of reception staff to service queues which makes a big difference in an efficient service. Clean and plenty of parking. I would have liked to see a better stocked play area for the young children (2 year old) as its very small. Maybe some books, a colouring table with colours and paper etc. Nothing extravagant just enough to keep little minds occupied.

It was an excellent experience.

General feedback is very good. One thing I'd like to note is when my father was an inpatient, he had choice over his menu after having a stroke. My family was disappointed to see there was no moderating to stop him for example, having ice cream for dessert every meal, which based on his condition wasn't ideal.

There was an out of date certificate of cleanliness in the Reception area. While I was in the waiting bay, nurses were talking loudly about “the woman in bay 7” which was me and whether I would leave before the afternoon clinic began. It made me feel uncomfortable.

I was looked after at the RNOH when I was undergoing major spinal surgery, March 2024. The staff there were amazing, from when we arrived a day early, they still accommodated for us, to just coming in and checking up on me regularly. They are all really friendly and will come and help you quickly if you need something. The hospital itself is in a really nice area, surrounded by lots of trees and the countryside, so a very nice place to look out of from your window in your room, or when you are having a walk around. The garden was lovely too, it allowed a chance to be able just to have a short walk outside without having to go too far away from your room. The food was good, compared to lots of other hospital catering, and there were always snacks and drinks by your bed if you every get hungry. Overall, it is a really good hospital!
