The hospital was good. Can get very busy so pharmacy and waiting area can take a while

From the welcome at reception to the team of each procedure (scans, blood tests), the team were professional, kind and welcoming.

Everything went okay at was excellent very friendly people here I recommend this place the rest of the family should come if they have two or need 10 out of 10

The Wellington Hospital is s first class hospital. The staff from the surgeon to the receptionist and especially the nurses are very caring and knowledgeable. A very good experience which fills you with confidence that you are in capable hands. I had major heart surgery in the cardiac unit and have made a very quick recovery. I feel sure a large part of this is down to the individual attention given to you by the nursing staff.

From the moment I entered the building (feeling somewhat apprehensive as I was there for an operation under GA) I felt reassured and welcomed. A member of staff (a nurse I think) who I saw arriving just before 7am made me feel welcome immediately, and explained where I needed to go. Every member of staff I met during my stay was caring, kind, empathetic and compassionate. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone. The theatre staff were reassuring and kind. The Consultant anaesthetist explained what would happen, listened and distracted me effectively. The surgeon listened to me and answered my questions. He explained what would happen and what to expect in the coming days post operatively. All the nursing staff were truly wonderful. They were empathetic, caring, compassionate and knowledgeable. I cannot thank the nursing staff enough. They listened to my concerns and were reassuring and gave knowledgeable explanations to my questions. Thank you to you all.

The whole process was professional and friendly from reception to consultation. I felt in very safe hands. I was really anxious about what might be found and the consultant explained everything she saw. This was a first class service. One that I am really grateful for.
