I came to Mr Pakarian for help with fibroids and associated symptoms. He put me at ease straight away. I felt listened to and was treated very much as an individual. He took his time to explain my condition and to discuss my options. He performed a hysteroscopy and although I was nervous to have this done, I felt in safe hands and confident with him doing this procedure due to his knowledge and experience. I couldn't recommend him enough, he is genuinely empathetic and truly cares about his patients and making a difference.

Unfortunately the consultation didn't start too well as Dr Karen was almost 20 minutes late for our zoom meeting due to a technical problem with her laptop. I would have appreciated it if that had been resolved in advance of our meeting or at least if I'd received a message during those 20 minutes of waiting to explain the delay. Karen was however very apologetic about this. The consultation was very informative and we covered a lot although I needed to ask her to properly explain everything as I felt quite bombarded with info plus it all seemed quite rushed. I also felt like her manner could have been a little gentler in relation to my age and trying to conceive. I had seen Dr Karen 3 years too and frustratingly she had not commented on something quite major that she now has brought up as a possible issue with my fertility. I would have been grateful if this had been raised 3 years before in my past appointment so I could have done the relevant tests then. I was also promised the follow up letter from this consultation the day after our meeting (Friday) or the beginning of the following week. However, it did not arrive even a week later and I have had to chase this up. Generally an ok experience but not fully satisfied.
